- Tasting note ; medium to deep garnet-purple color and aromas of kirsch, creme de cassis, baking spices, potpourri, mulberries and black pepper. Full-bodied with plenty of ripe, spice blackberry flavor, it has a good backbone of crisp acid and medium level of velvety tannins, finishing long with some vanilla coming through.
